Enhanced Results Format

The enhanced results format uses a very small java applet to gather results from craigslist. This provides maximum speed and efficiency, along with greater flexibility in formatting the results.

It is also superior to other craigslist-search sites out there, which use intermediate services like google and yahoo pipes to get their results. With Searchtempest, the results go directly from Craigslist to your computer, which greatly speeds up page loads, and means you'll always see the most recent results with no delay. (All that was true before, but the enhanced mode allows us to accomplish these things while providing an awesome, easy-to-read format!)

The first time you do a search using the enhanced format, you will see a security notice from your browser, asking if you'd like to run the applet. Note that the applet is signed by Searchtempest Online Inc., and the certificate is verified by a trusted signing authority (Thawte Corp.).
